Rudy's Story...
Rudy is a beautiful little man, he weighs maybe 5 pounds (born 2009 - so 3 yrs old). Rudy is a wee bit shy at first but warms up quick. He wants to please and be held... he rarely barks. Rudy will need a little bit of fattening up. He came to us with his wife, Gretchen, and two kids (who have since been adopted). Rudy gets along great with the other female fosters in the home, but being an alpha male - doesn't like the other males so much. He does do GREAT with humans, both male and female. He's been described by others as "stunning". Please email Barb (at barbr39@msn.com) for information on how to adopt Rudy or visit www.azchihuahuarescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
