Alise's Story...
Alise came to us from the Show Low area when her elderly owners could no longer take care of her after she had a litter of pups. She's been spayed now, and is ready for a her new home! She is a petite girl who is so friendly and makes friends with every person she greets. Her tail flaps and she wiggles her hind quarters to let you know how happy she is. She is learning her basic obedience commands and will be eager to train with you. She would make an awesome hiking, running, and outdoors dog. Or she would make a awesome can I hang out with you dog, as long as you give her the exercise and play time she so deserves. This girl is ready for the next stage of her life, can you be her person to spend it with?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alise, a Gilbert American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
