My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy Bob and his mother Baby were brought into a vet's office by their owners to be euthanized just because they were elderly. He is 12 and she is 14. The vet could not find anything wrong with their health so refused to do it. She had them turn the dogs over to the clinic and she called Boston Terrier Rescue of SC.

They are both int he same foster home and we would like to adopt them together just because they have been together, well, all of Buddy's life. But they don't seem extremely bonded, so we would consider splitting them up.

Buddy Bob weighs 15 lb. He gets along with other dogs and is a sweet boy. But there is something about some men that he doesn't like. He is fine with women. There are no children int he foster home and since he is a senior, it's probably best that he have a quiet senior home. He comes up for a pet now and then, but is not particularly needy for attention. He is fairly active but has not expressed an interest in toys. He does like to lay in the sun and bask.

Buddy Bob is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, is heartworm negative and is house-trained and crate-trained.

If you are interested in Buddy Bob, call his foster mom, Gloria at 706-541-2052. To adopt Buddy Bob, go to bostonrescueofsc.org and complete the adoption application. His adoption fee is $150. Ask about our Seniors 4 Seniors Program.
