My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jayla was rescued during our Rescue Road Trip. She is just as sweet as can be. At the time we met, Jayla was pregnant. We did not want to leave her so we brought her back to NJ with us. Our foster home took her in on April 6th. This 4 yr old girl is approx. 30 pounds. This is what our foster home has to say about this sweet little girl: Jayla is house broken and goes out nicely to do her business. We got he home and she ate and drank. Met our canine crew with no problem. She has proved to be housebroken and now has the run of the house. She is a bit quiet and a little shy, but I'm sure she will warm up, she just arrived. She is a little love, and that little tail hardly ever stops wagging. Jayla is fostered with other dogs. You can see the video of Jayla when she first arrived. This was taken prior to her going off to her foster home. We will advise when Jayla gives birth.

UPDATE: The pups were born on April 8th. What a wonderful little mother Jayla is. So attentive to her huge tribe of pups that she waits to go out, and even to eat, until they are all fed and asleep .She is always glad for some attention of her own and greets you with kisses and tail wags. She has no problem having her puppies handled. She has a quiet, gentle personality and is so anxious to please. This love of a dog can melt your heart with her beautiful big brown eyes. She is such a good girl, it would be hard to find anything to improve.

Jayla is a love, she is a calm, mellow girl. She is fine with or without other dogs. You can touch her pups without her being upset. She is 100% housebroken, never having an accident since arrival. She is so well behaved that she would be a great pet for any home once her pups are weaned. You will be blessed to have Jayla join your family.

UPDATE: Jayla has not touched anything that is not hers, she has no desire to chew or destroy anything in our home. She loves to snuggle with people, or lay around where you are. When you show her some attention, she is in heaven. She is a true sweet girl. You can touch her when she eats, you can put your hand right in her mouth. There is not one mean bone is this girl's body!

UPDATE May 1st: Jayla continues to be a REALLY GOOD GIRL. She is very easy to care for. She knows to come when she is called. She also knows the "down" command. She never gets into trouble. She LOVES kids. Jayla respects being told to be out of the room when people are eating. She listens well and stays out of the room. When walked she adores seeing the kids outside. She is friendly with them all. She also likes to wade in shallow water. I would not doubt that one day, she would like to swim. She continues to do all her business outside. She is 100% housebroken. Do not let her photos fool you, she is not a big dog. She is on the small side of a med. sized dog. Once you meet her, you will adore her as she will adore you! She is a great mom to her pups. They are now eating on their own and Jayla's duties are coming to an end. If interested, please submit an application for adoption. The only thing this girl is missing is a home to call her own..

This animal is currently fostered in a private home. Our rescue is 100% foster home based. We do not have a shelter or kennel. They are cared for by a loving family until adopted. Each pup has had their first vet exam, a shot, and de-worming, etc We make sure they have no fleas prior to going into our foster homes. They are fostered out of the shelter at least two weeks or more prior to adopting to monitor health. We take their care seriously!
