Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pearl is around 6 years old and is a "pocket pittie" weighing only about 50 lbs. She wandered up to a business in the 5th Ward in February and one of the people there thought enough of her to get her help. She was bred near to death and she had a rough recovery from her spay (seeping through sutures, had to be given vitamin k and belly wrap). She also had some eye and skin infection initially, but is doing just fine now.
Pearl is currently living with a 13 lb terrier mix who is the alpha (go figure). She's dark brindle with cropped ears. She has completed treatment for heartworms and is ready for placement. Pearl is healthy and strong! She comes with harness and leash, food and very large nyla-bone too! Pearl's foster mom says she is the sweetest girl, very tender and loving and just overall happy girl.
If you, or someone you know, are interested in adopting Pearl, please fill out the adoption application on our website (http://forgottendogs.org/adoption_application.html) and make you you specify PEARL. Thanks!
