My story

"Hi, all of you nice people! My name is CLYDE, and I'm an affectionate and very handsome four-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund-mix fellow who is in need of a new forever home. Being on the small side, I'd be perfect for an apartment or a house. I'm a playful dog who likes to chase toys in the yard, and I enjoy going for walks. I also like to sit on laps and snuggle. I'm a pretty well-rounded guy who likes to have fun, but I also know when it's time to settle down. I appreciate getting brushed, as I know that keeps my incredibly shiny coat always looking its best. I have a great personality, and I'd probably do best in a home with older, considerate kids. I get along well with other dogs, so I might even like to have a dog buddy to keep me company in my new home. The shelter staff is fairly certain that I've been house trained, but they're still watching me to be sure. We've got great exercise yards here at the shelter; the perfect place to get to know one another. Who knows...I might even be that wonderful little dog that you have always dreamed about.
