My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgia is about as sweet as they come! She is incredibly mild-mannered and gets along well with all size dogs and cats. Though seemingly shy, Georgia loves to play with other dogs and spoon with her humans. Georgia is quite petite and pictures do not do justice to this docile and soulful little gal.

Georgia came into the shelter as a “stray” trapped in a cat trap. Georgia was in the cat trap for days before someone noticed her — scared, hungry, cold and in pain. She had broken several teeth and ripped a couple of her toenails out trying to claw her way out of this tiny cage.

While at Harbor, Georgia quickly became a shelter favorite with her sweet as sugar personality — she just wanted to be near your side. However, due to her unhealthy state she was kept in isolation away from other dogs and the public. Georgia sat and waited to be saved for over a month.

Finally, we came across a friend’s posting on Facebook highlighting Georgia and we knew we had to meet this little girl.

Georgia is doing extremely well in her foster home and LOVES all of her foster siblings (including small dogs and big cats!).
