Jaxon is a male Havanese / Terrier mix approximately 3 years of age. He has gorgeous, flowing tricolor gray fur with tan and cream mixed in. Jaxon is a stocky, sturdy boy currently weighing 14 pounds. His ideal weight should be 16-18 pounds. His compact body is topped off by a banner of a tail which arches proudly up over his back. Jaxon is a complete and total love. He is so sweet and friendly, excellent with children and good with other dogs. You can take Jaxon anywhere and he simply loves to be included right by your side. Jaxon is very affectionate with people and would do anything for some love. He is very eager to please. He will make an outstanding choice for a family pet and will be the kind of dog that is always faithfully by your side. Jaxon enjoys walking on leash and can easily keep up for a romp at the park, a trip to the beach, or even a hike. He has a zest for life and an outgoing, healthy level of energy. Jaxon has deep dark brown eyes that are a bit sad from lack of love. He was dumped at the shelter by his "owners" who said they just didn't want a dog anymore. Jaxon was obviously confused and overwhelmed by this callous choice when he found himself suddenly sleeping on concrete rather than safe in his own home. He is such a gorgeous, well mannered, sweet young dog we can't really understand it either. Jaxon is a wonderful pet, would thrive on being pampered, snuggled with, and he loves a treat or two. He will sit very nicely when being offered a tasty morsel. Jaxon is excellent inside the home and never any trouble. His world has been shaken and he is looking for a family who will be as loyal to him as he is to his people. Jaxon wants the security of a forever home he can count on. He won't let you down! Jaxon is very healthy and ready for his new family today.

Jaxon’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Jaxon is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Jaxon at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, MAY 4th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in COSTA MESA located at 1815 Newport Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92627. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JAXON, a Newport Beach Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
