Rocky's Story...
CUTE is an overused word but truly, Rocky IS. He's full grown at 23 pounds and has a little bounce in his walk that makes us smile. He's built like a big dog but miniaturized! He's being fostered in a home with other dogs and cats - and doing exceptionally well with all his new friends. He's house trained and it seemed to happen naturally. He figured out a dog door with one try :). He has a calm nature - he enjoys playing but is quite relaxed around the house. Rocky is estimated to be between 1 and 3 years old. He's fostered in Huntsville, AL and his foster parents would love to introduce you. To learn more about Rocky, email INFO@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Marietta Boston Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
