Blaze's Story...
Can you imagine finding this little beauty out in the Yuma desert with wire wrapped around his head and neck with no one around to help. Lucky for him he was found and saved by a good Sam and taken in and cared for. Blaze was then transferred to CRSD so he could get the best possible home since he is so very special. About 5 lbs and a year old this little guy is all fun.
Loves to walk or be carried and will go with you where pups are allowed. If you would like to meet Blaze please send in our application found on the web site www.RescueAChi.com and we will make sure you can see for yourself what a sweet boy this is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blaze, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
