Adelle's Story...
Adoption Pending
This is Adelle. She is a purebred 2 year old 4o pound black spayed chow chow. Adelle came to our rescue with a huge fluffy coat which unfortunately was very matted. We had to shave her down and her coat is now growing back in. She is adorable and looks like a little black bear! Adelle has gotten along with other male dogs she has been with. She is a people oriented dog who enjoys walks and of course treats. She is very friendly and sweet. Adelle deserves a good home where she will be played with, walked and given lots of attention. In return you will be rewarded with eternal devotion and lots of love. Please email norcalchowrescue@sbcglobal.net or call Prudence at (530) 885-0963
for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adelle, a Auburn Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Auburn, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Auburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Auburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Auburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Auburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
