Chrissy's Story...
Chrissy is a very sweet, friendly, affectionate young (perhaps 1-2 years old) dog. The vet thinks she has some Chinese Crested in her from the shape of her legs/paws. She might have some Dachshund and/or Chihuahua in her too. Being a rescue dog it is anybody's guess!

Chrissy loves to run around and play with the other small dogs at the shelter. She LOVES to be around humans the most, and would make a great family dog.

Chrissy has been spayed and is current on her immunizations. If you would like to make Chrissy a part of your family, please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229 or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chrissy, a Oakland Chinese Crested/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested/Dachshund for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Chinese Crested/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinese Crested/Dachshund breeders who help with Chinese Crested/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
