My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wendy came to us from San Jose Animal Shelter on Thanksgiving Day 2012! One of their employees was headed up our way to visit family and he brought her to us. Wendy was absolutely terrified. It took months before she would trust me to even pet her. But now we think she's ready for a new loving home. She's still a bit skidish but she loves her walks and will bond with her new mom and /or dad through walking. She is a very lively girl and we were surprised to see how excited she got once she decided she was safe with us. She has tons of energy for a girl her age; probably between 7 and 9 years young however, she's happy to relax and chill out when left alone! She weighs about 8.5 pounds and has such a lovely soft creamy golden coat. She will do best in a home with not alot of activity or people coming and going. We don't recommend kids with Wendy. But she wants to be active and go walking regularly and so we would like to see her in a home with someone who is still active enough to walk her every day. She is not that keen about other dogs but can tolorate them if they mind their own business.
