Gwen's Story...
Hi my name is Gwen, I was rescued on my "last day" five years ago from Levy county animal shelter and I found a new family. They loved me but had some job issues and had to move to a place that didn't let me go too, so I came back to stay with those nice people who rescued me the first time. Now they are helping me find, what is hopefully, my forever home. I'm about 6-8 years old and a good girl. I get along with other dogs and cats. I'm good with kids, although I prefer when they are a bit older. I do great with a doggie door. Although I am crate trained I shouldn't be left alone all day because I will miss you. Can I come live at your house?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gwen, a Seminole German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Seminole, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Seminole.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seminole already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seminole breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seminole paves the way for another one to be saved.
