Toby's Story...
Greetings! I'm one of the most handsome cats on the face of the planet, and my name is Toby! I'm a friendly little guy that came to live at Happily Ever After in the summer of 2012. I spent some time in a foster home getting big and strong and healthy, and there it was discovered that I get along VERY well with dogs (check out the picture of me snuggling with one of my doggie buddies!)! Some of my favorite things in the world are toy mice, toys on strings, and opening drawers to remove the contents to play with! If you have room in your home and your heart for a calm, quiet, and dapper gray-eyed gentleman, I would certainly hope that you will come and meet me soon! Yours truly, Toby

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
