Josie's Story...
Josie came from a show/breeder home. She lived in an outdoor/indoor kennel type situation (like boarding almost). She had never lived in a home with unconditional love until we found her. Josie is 7 years old (young). She acts like a puppy and loves to play ball at the ball park. Josie gets along with other dogs and she is an active dog. She needs daily exercise. She is not a lap dog-- she loves to keep busy! Josie enjoys walks and jogs. She is crate trained and would benefit greatly from someone who is home most of the day. Josie LOVES toys- she will collect them and take them all into her crate and she will take them outside if you let her! She is a funny little girl. Josie is a petite Cocker Spaniel - only weighing 16lbs. Josie is a complete LOVE. Anyone would be lucky to have this beauty in their home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Alpharetta Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
