Buddy fka Jake's Story...
Jake: 4 year old red male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 15", 21 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter.

"Hi! I'm Jake! I was found as a stray but my personality reflects that I once had a loving home with a family. I am a bigger min pin although I'm gaining muscle, losing fat and hope to lose a little bit more weight so I can keep up with my active foster family! I love going on long walks and when my foster mom accidentally dropped my leash, I didn't run away. I am looking for a really nice family to share my life with again! I love other dogs but not sure about cats. I love to snuggle under the blanket and recently let a tiny 6 pound min pin take charge of me! Boy, did she have an attitude, lol! My foster mom gives me massages and sings to me in the morning and I'm also bonding with my foster dad. My foster home is quiet, only dogs and adults as I'm not comfortable around small children. I'm a sweet baby who deserves a second chance and some TLC. Do you have room in your life for me?"

Note: Jake is located in Edgewater, CO - and we will not fly this boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy fka Jake, a Castle Rock Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Castle Rock, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Castle Rock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castle Rock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castle Rock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castle Rock paves the way for another one to be saved.
