King's Story...
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.

King is a neutered male Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix, approximately 2 years old and weighs 82 pounds. He is extremely sweet and loves nothing more than getting lots of attention and being with his people! He loves walks, playing fetch and playing with toys. He is good in the house, goes out to potty but would rather be inside with his people than stay outside. This is a wonderful dog! If you're looking for a great dog, don't wait to submit an application. This boy won't be in rescue for long! Note: King is fairly dominant with other dogs and would do best as an only dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

King, a Belleville Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
