Raymond's Story...
We know that everyone loves Raymond, and who couldn’t love this beautiful young boy. Raymond, a silky terrier, is one year old and is all ready to go to his new forever home. He is approx. 14 pounds, a real sweetheart, but does not think fences that he can climb can hold him. He will need a secure yard and an active playful family to use up some of his energy. If you are interested in meeting Raymond please send in our application found at the web site www.RescueAChi.com. His adoption fee is $300 and he is a purebred.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raymond, a San Diego Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
