Jameson's Story...
Poor Jameson was found tied to the fence at our local dump. Because of his size we can only guess that his owner could no longer afford to feed him. Jameson is 92 lbs. but is well mannered for his size. He is 3-4 yrs. old and is housebroken, great with kids, other dogs and cats! All he needs is a forever home.

Jameson is neutered, UTD on shots, HW negative and on flea and HW preventative.

He will only go to a home where he can be an inside dog in the heat of the day - and the cold of winter.

He is currently in foster care in E. TN and will transported north upon adoption. We use Alpha Dog Transport and they charge $125 for their services. Jameson's vet records will be handed off when you claim your dog. An adoption fee will also apply to cover the cost of his vetting.

Please complete our online application which is located on our main website deaddogswalkingtn.com under dog adoption. If you do not get a response within 24 hrs. please email. We have had some difficulty with our website and it is being corrected "as we speak".

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jameson, a Providence Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Providence, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
