Timmy's Story...
My name is Timmy and I am a 1 1/2 yr old chi mix. I only weigh 8 lbs so if you are wanting a small boy to carry around and take everywhere I am your guy. Look at my ears and tell me you can't resist me! I am kind of ok with cats and ok with dogs even though the bigger ones scare me a little. I really just want to be with you..from my short time at my fosters home it appears I am house broken too! That is nice huh? Anyway - give me a chance ok?

Timmy is around 1 1/2 years old and about 8 lbs. He is updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timmy, a Houston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
