Samuel's Story...

This dog will not be shown before our adoption event on Saturday.

Samuel is a neutered male Yorkshire Terrier, micro-chipped, DOB Sept. 23, 2011.

Samuel has only known the life as a breeder dog, deprived of all comforts and pleasures like how it feels to be snuggled and loved. He needs someone that has the time and patience to teach him house manners and to be a normal dog. He will require a fenced in yard.

Another small breed dog in the home would be best in addition to a fenced yard. No children under 10 yrs.

Samuel will be at PetSmart in Brighton this Saturday. The adoption event is from Noon til 4p.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samuel, a Howell Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Howell, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
