Tank's Story...
Tank is a big teddy bear! He is approx 100+ lbs. & about 1 1/2 yrs old. He's current on shots, been neutered, micro-chipped, heartworm negative/on prevention, crate trained and knows basic commands. Tank loves other dogs & children; however, due to his size he needs to play with buddies that are also very large and older children. He is a beautiful, sweet, gentle giant with alot of love to give. Tank will need a fenced yard and will need to be crated indoors at night or when left alone during the day. This big boy is very smart, easily trained and full of energy - he loves attention and would love to be by your side at all time. He'll make an excellent companion for an active person/family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tank, a Byhalia Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland for sale in Byhalia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland dog from a breeder in Byhalia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Byhalia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Byhalia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Byhalia paves the way for another one to be saved.
