Reese's Story...
Reese (fka Peanut) is the sweetest most wrinkly little guy! Reese came to us as at the beginning of April at a mere 4-6 weeks of age. It was thought by the shelter, Philly ACCT, that he had a neurological issue because he was shaking and also showing signs of pain. After coming into our care we learned that he was not actually suffering from anything other than a very serious case of worms (all puppies need to be de-wormed)and it was so clogged up in his belly that it was causing him serious pain. After being de-wormed he became a very happy, active and playful pup! He is in a foster home with another LCPO pup about the same age and he is also socialized with people of all ages as well as other dogs and all kinds of other animals.
He is a very sweet little guy that will need a loving and responsible adopter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reese, a Hillsborough Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hillsborough, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hillsborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
