Patrick's Story...
This handsome boy was born on Feb 6,2013. He is a playful beauty and is looking for his new forever home. Patrick is an independent retriever/shepherd mix who enjoys sitting and observing the situation, people- watching and waiting for the next command. He's a people pleaser! Patrick was the largest pup and grew a bit ahead of game in comparison to his siblings, so he liked to be the leader of his little pack, but everyone else has caught up to him now, so Patrick is content to be a cuddly and calm baby, at 14lbs already! Apply to meet Patrick today, he's patiently waiting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patrick, a Saskatoon Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
