Hops's Story...
Hops is a very sweet and very energetic pointer mix who is approximately 1 1/2 yrs old. She is spayed and UTD on vaccinations. She earned her name due to her display of arial acrobatics during play time and when she's really excited about something she's sure to show you her moves. She is a super smart girl and already knows sit, down, wait and give. She is currently working on her leash manners and is doing quite well! She gets along with other dogs, big and small, and is already crate trained and housebroke and is finally learning to 'que' her potty time. She is all done with her heart worm treatment and is loving life back in the fast lane! Although she seems to be a bundle on energy, she is quite content chewing on a rawhide on her bed when its time to relax. And if she's really being sneaky, she might even try to fall asleep on the couch with you. She's a super happy gal and loves everyone she meets. She's ready to go on her next adventure with her forever family, could it be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hops, a Columbus Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Pointer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
