Phillipe's Story...
Hi! my name is Phillipe and I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. My foster family lives in Brooklyn and really loves me. I am great with their dogs and everyone in the family. I love to play with the other dogs but I also like to snuggle on the couch with the family. I am about a year old, 20 lbs, neutered, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Phillipe.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phillipe, a Madison Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Madison, or seeking a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
