Bob is a 9-10 yr old, tricolored, male Sheltie. He weighs about 38 lbs, however, needs to lose about 5 pounds. Bob is as laid-back and carefree as it gets. He's charming, copacetic, curious and cool all the time. He loves to do whatever you have in mind. Want to sit and watch TV? Fantastic! Want to go for a long walk or a drive? That's just what he was thinking of!! Want to clean out the garage? Bob will help (mostly supervise!) Bob is just EASY!
Bob treats everyone as though he's known them for YEARS. So happy to see all of his old friends! He's very friendly with other dogs and would probably prefer a home with at least one other playful dog (and that will help keep him feeling young!). He loooooooves fluffy dog beds and whatever YOU are eating is his favorite food! What a coincidence! But Bob still has a few more pounds to lose, so you will have to resist his pleading puppy-dog eyes. Take him for a walk instead of sharing your snack!
Bob is a perfect houseguest. He is house trained and doesn't bark a lot (but you will fall in love with his sweet little voice when he does bark….mostly when he's playing!) He has a few more pounds to go to reach his goal weight, but he hides it well underneath the most lush and soft coat his foster home as EVER seen. The hair on his face and forelegs is a bit diluted, so he looks to be older than he really is, but we think it just makes him look more handsome and wise and distinguished! (Like George Clooney!) He doesn't get super excited or crazy very often, but when he does he loves to run crazy-eights through the house, followed by his happy, goofy little prance.
Bob is just easy….and comfortable…..like your favorite, soft sweatshirt (you know the one!). He's always jolly and his stress-free philosophy is contagious. He's just one of those dogs that makes you relax and recognize all of the great things life has to offer. (If Bob were human, he would only wear hawaiian shirts from Costco! And he would have lots of Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet records!) Please fill out an application if you think you might like to be a part of Bob's wonderful life!
