LUG NUT's Story...
This amicable fluffball was even-keeled and friendly. He is playful but not the rough-and-tumble type. He walks well on a leash and we suspect he may already be housebroken. He started out a bit unsure but was quickly becoming more comfortable and confident once we got him out of the shelter chaos. Young adult (2 yrs) Lhasa Apso mix, approx 20 lbs. Pulled from the West LA Shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUG NUT, a Los Angeles Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
