Hi guys, I'm shaggy! I am a 6 month old Maltese mix looking for a home! Here's the thing.. I am special needs. I am both blind and deaf, which offers some challenges for sure! I am pretty good at navigating smaller space, but still bump into things, and I am working on the potty training thing, but its tough when I have to go and I can't find my paper. I love snuggling and being cuddled, but I get nervous when you pick me up, and even my foster mom has almost dropped me when I get nervous and squirmy! I'm also a very little guy, only 3.5lbs! This is tough because it stops me from doing stairs, so I need a home with one level. It also means I can get hurt very easily and need a child free home, so far my doggie foster brothers have pretty much ignored me, even when I try and snuggle up! I think I prefer a warm lap anyway! I will need a very understanding and patient home that has a lot of time to help me figure things out, I'm a really great little guy and you should see me play, it's really cute! But I'm going to be special needs forever, so please keep that in mind when thinking about adopting me. It's tough getting used to new places, so I want my next home to be the one I am loved in forever!
