My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mataska is a beautiful (pictures don't do this guy justice at all!!!) Husky mix, around 3.5 years young, looking for a forever home.

He is an owner surrender, due to circumstances beyond the family's control:
"He is good with kids, he loves attention and is loyal. He is good with basic commands and is protective of his family. He was a rescue dog as a young pup and grew up with my family but was close to my wife. Unfortunately my wife passed away suddenly a short time ago and he still smells her scent and looks for her constantly which is why I hope to find a good family for him so he can move on with his life and enjoy it without any of the distractions here."

Mataska is house trained, altered, and up to date with vaccines.

UPDATE: This dog is so relaxed and 'cool'!!! He loves kids....does not run around so he would be good with younger children as well. Beautiful coat! Anybody would be lucky to have this dog as a companion.
