Madonna's Story...
Hi, I'm Madonna!

Excuse me, but I'm still licking the remains of some delicious fried chicken off my nose. See, I was rescued from a Church's parking lot, and boy is that stuff addictive!

So, I'm about 8 months old and despite my ravenous appetite for greasy foods, I'm a delicate, sweet tempered, pretty-as-can-be little girl. I'm quiet and easy-going, and I'll make someone a spectacular companion. I've had my lady-parts surgery, and my vaccinations of course. They say I am a special girl who needs a very special home, because I do have a medical condition, but we can talk about that more after you get to know me a little better. I'm eagerly awaiting your visit...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madonna, a Houston Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
