Stella's Story...
Say hello to the lovely Stella, who appears to be a Collie/Shepherd mix of about a year to 18 months old. She was yet another stray that nobody came looking for. Stella has displayed excellent house manners at the foster home - clean inside, calm, quiet, good with cats - and will make a very good family pet for even the novice dog owner. At 48 pounds, she is not likely to get any bigger. What a lovely dog! If you have been looking for a wonderful dog to join your family, Stella is about as near to perfect as you can get.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Rigaud Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
