Helloooo Everybody! My name is Tank! I am 3 years old and weigh about 45 – 50 lbs. I came into IEBR in January 2013; I was a real mess when my Foster mama got a hold of me. I had something called demodex mange. Not contagious or anything like that but I lost a lot of hair and had scabs all over me cause I couldn’t quit itching. I wasn’t at foster mom’s house long before she noticed that I coughed a lot and seem to choke on stuff… Off to the vet again and I had an x-ray and found out that I had a birth defect; something called a herniated diaphragm. I had to have a BIG surgery and got that all fixed up… I actually got to visit another foster mama’s home for part of my recuperation! All my scabs are gone now and my hair is actually growing back!! That’s right ladies, I am a real looker!! My foster mama tells me all the time “who ever gets me for their forever home is very lucky” I am a cuddle bug! I just want to be loved on… I love to snuggle and if I could just crawl up into your lap so you can pet me I will shower you with kisses!! I love other dogs and I love to play too! Kids or great too! I haven’t been around anything called a cat so I don’t know if I like em or not. Foster mama says we are working on my manners So far I can sit and do down and I can stay… although stay is real hard.
