Eddie's Story...
Poor Eddie was dumped, he was found by myself (Melissa) in the front yard, starving and very skinny, he has quickly put on weight and continues to gain as he needs to. Just in case a family was looking for him Eddie was not up for adoption right away. Eddie is probably about 4-5 years old. He is a lover and loves to sleep under the covers at night to keep warm. I can't say enough about this little guy. Not sure what exactly his breed mixes are but he is a little guy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eddie, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
