Hanna - 8 wk old puppy's Story...
Hi My name is Hanna and I'm a lovely 8 week old Rat Terrier mix. My mama Mona is a rat terrier mix (pictured) and my rescuers think daddy may have been a boxer cause I am growing fast! They expect me to be 30 lb or so full grown and I'm the best of both worlds between the big and little dogs! My mama is extremely sweet and I've learned that from her and am great with other dogs too. I am the sweetest one of the bunch.

If you'd like to apply for me, or any of my rescues other dogs, please email info@labsandfriends.org to request an application or go to their website at www.labsandfriends.org and download and fill one out. They can be scanned and emailed or faxed to 818-351-8148 (no cover needed)..

Thank you for rescuing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hanna - 8 wk old puppy, a Burbank Rat Terrier/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Boxer for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
