Molly's Story...
Little Miss Molly came to us in early April with an injury to her head but after excellent vet care and a lot of TLC, she is now the picture of health and happiness and acts exactly like any other kitten. She is darling and loves to climb all over her foster mom and get pets and kisses. She is very affectionate and a big purrer. Molly loves to take a snooze on your lap, loves to sleep with you and in general just wants to be with you. Molly adores other cats and enjoys a good game of chase. Usually it's Molly in hot pursuit of a much larger cat! Considering right now that Molly is only 1.9 lbs and she is chasing a 15 pound cat, it's quite funny! This little girl is so loving and wonderful. She runs and climbs and loves her cat tree. Molly is fearless! She was born around 3/5/13 and will be available for adoption in early May. Molly would do well with a playmate her age or even with an older cat who is sweet and loving and wants to play with her. She is one of the most amazing little kittens you could ever meet. Molly is fostered in Manhattan, West 60s. Come see her today!! FOR MORE PHOTOS: http://animoto.com/play/k2i98Rw4muUScDp72T0RPA

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a New York Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
