My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dublin, and I am a friendly, happy little boy who is sweet and affectionate, if I do say so myself! I love to be loved! I am a pretty easy-going guy. I love my toys and have lots of fun chasing tennis balls, but after several chases I am content to lie around and just munch on the ball or toy. I also love tummy rubs and going for walks and adventures. I am a good little traveler in the car as well--very polite. Everyone tells me I am a handsome boy with my buff-colored coat and my big brown eyes. I am good about asking when I want to go outside (adorable, as my foster mom puts it), and I know the "sit" and "shake" commands and how to give hugs. My foster mom tells me all the time how smart and good I am. Of course, I am also housebroken! I only bark to alert her to certain things, and when she thanks me and tells me, "It's okay now,'" I stop right away. I also like to just hang around with my foster cocker sister and lounge and take naps when Mom is out.

I am 36 pounds, and there is not an ounce of fat on me. That's because I am an English cocker and am a little bigger than my American cousins, though I probably have some Americn in me, too. I have tons of love to give to a new family! I can't wait to start creating lots of wonderful memories and having lots of new adventures with my new family! Can I go home with you?

Dublin is fostering in Ventura, California, and he is eagerly awaiting his forever home. He is a really great little guy!! He does have a heart murmur, so he is on one medication for that and doing really well. He qualifies for our sanctuary program, whereby you adopt him and provide a loving forever home for him and we pay all of his medical expenses for the rest of h is life. Dublin is 9 years young. Please contact Ann at 805-499-4488 or e-mail les.etes@verizon.net to find out more about this sweet Cocker Connection boy and to get an application. You can also get a quick application by going to the Second Chance Cocker Rescue site at www.SecondChanceCockerRescue.org. After you fill out the application, just hit the submit button and it will go right to my e-mail. Thanks!
