Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rio is a very friendly dog and shows no signs of stranger anxiety. She still will occasionally jump up for a greeting, but when it happens, it's brief and easily corrected.
Regarding children, Rio has shown no signs of aggression toward her foster dad's 9 year old niece and 13 year old nephew. She has not been around smaller children in a confined space. However, she walked passed several small children and showed no signs of aggression.
Rio LOVES to swim and will readily follow her foster dad down the stairs into the pool. She easily recognizes the "way out".
She is developing a strong alpha drive and is constantly challenging both of the adult Siberians in her foster home. Rio will assume the alpha position, so any potential adopter with another dog should be comfortable with a change in hierarchy if they have older dogs that are"slowing down".
Rio would also be perfect for a single dog family. She loves to be with her humans and has a strong desire please. She does not require a canine playmate.
Rio does dig and has a STRONG small prey drive. She will need a 6ft privacy fence. She does NOT like cats. Rio is house trained.
Please contact us about this sweet baby so she can grow up with your family.
