BOBO's Story...
This adorable little guy is named Bobo. Bobo and his three siblings were rescued from being squashed in the middle of the road by a sympathetic motorist. Apparently the puppies had been dropped off on a county road on a small overpass. A motorist that was passing by spotted the little group playing on the bridge. He loaded them up and took them home with him. His neighbor is one of our volunteers and she is fostering the puppies. Bobo is one of two males. The puppies appear to be approx 6 - 8 weeks old and are a mix of Black mouth Cur and Boxer, we think. They are currently about 10 lbs each. The puppies have been started on vaccines and will complete those on May 4. All puppies will be spayed or neutered prior to transport. We also have them on all of their monthly preventatives for heart worms, fleas/ticks, and parasites. Thanks for taking a look at this most handsome fellow.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOBO, a Glastonbury Black Mouth Cur/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur/Boxer for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur/Boxer breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
