Meet Popeye! Popeye arrived in Washington with Olive and their three babies from a high-kill shelter in Indio, California. Their babies have all been adopted to wonderful new homes so now it’s time for him to find his forever home, too. Popeye is a sweet, sensitive, handsome boy, and an absolute charmer! He is a little shy when first meeting people but it only takes a few minutes to win him over – he is getting more and more confident by the day. Popeye likes older, quiet kids and loves other dogs. He will do best in a home with another playful dog as a buddy. He loves to snuggle with other dogs of any size. Popeye is about two years old and weighs no more than 10 pounds. He walks great on a leash and loves daily excursions. Popeye is completely potty trained, crate trained and has good manners. He loves to cuddle up in cozy dog beds and burrow under his blankets, but his favorite spot is curled up in his foster mom's lap while she is at the computer. You can expect at least a 15-year commitment with this breed mix.
