Clover's Story...
Clover, est at 10 years old, and 7 lbs was again another money maker for some breeder who then dumped her and several others in the night at a shelter. Didn’t want to be seen so they can keep on doing this to other poor dogs. Clover is very unsure of humans when she first meets them, but once she trusts you she becomes the Velcro dog. A nice size, and actually very submissive to people she trusts she would make a good dog for a home without much activity and no children. Even though she is a hard to place dog we have taken her in and hope that someone else will find her qualities just as wonderful as we do. Send us an email if you are interested and we will talk about her placement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clover, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
