Bruce's Story...
Bruce is just over 3 months old (approx date of birth is Jan 8,2013) and he is a wonderful pup. Bruce is super loving and smart, he is making great headway on basic commands and house training. He is getting quite good on the leash eagerly, and loves to run around with the younger kids in his foster home as well when they go on family walks. He adores other dogs almost as much as a good cuddle. When Bruce is let out of his kennel in the morning he does a happy dance, around flopping his big feet ahead of him. Bruce is very easy going- he happily plays with his foster family or spends time with his sister in their pen or in the yard in the sun. After a day of playing with his sister, he happily cuddles on your lap to fall asleep. Apply to meet Bruce today, you don't be disappointed!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a Saskatoon Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
