Felina's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Felina's Story...
Felina is a 6 year old Norwegian Elkhound that would like nothing more than to find a loving home. She's a quiet very affectionate girl that just likes to hang out with her owner and watch the goings on of the home. Felina is very content to lounge around the house and be petted by her owner. If you're looking for a nice gentle companion pet, Felina definitely fits the bill. Take it slow when visiting, she's a little shy at first. It's best if Felina lived in an adult household or one with teenage children. One other thing...we found out Felina is not a lover of cats. Don't pass Felina by...she's a real charmer!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felina, a Elyria Norwegian Elkhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Elkhound for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Norwegian Elkhound dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Elkhound breeders who help with Norwegian Elkhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
