THIS IS KEELEY....and a more affectionate dog you will never find. Keeley is white, with a little tan, 11 lb, 4 yr old Shih Tzu, with a very bad haircut! But hair grows!! This little girl came from a horrible shelter with her two friends. We tried to adopt all three of them but were only given two :( The shelter wanted the boy to go on a mobile event, so he did and he got adopted. The other girl, who we believe to be Keeley's mother, looks just like her, is still very shell shocked and not ready for adoption. We believe that she had been abused, but not Keeley. Keeley has had puppies, and not so long ago. Perhaps the family decided "out with the old, in with the new." GRRRRRR. Despite whatever our little Keeley has been thru, she is none for the worst for it. She is sweet, she gets along with everyone, walks well on a leash, seems to be potty trained (but no guarantees) and is quiet, unless you leave her alone. She will bark for a few minutes, then she is quiet as a mouse. She just loves to be held and caressed. No kisses yet, but we believe they will come. Keeley is a super girl and we think she would be best with a canine companion to keep her company. She is very smart and listens....and loves being close, but she will wait her turn. She is not pushy, just lovey. Wonderful little girl :)
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

Most Sundays, unless we are doing a special event, we are at Westfield Century City Mall from 12p-4pm behind the Concierge Booth near Brooks Bros. Park in the Orange Section in the parking structure and come up the escallator and follow the signage. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
