Agent 99's Story...
I came to AWLMC from a nice lady that rescue cats from the Humane Society of Prince Georges County and then works with rescues to find us a safe place to find a new home. I am a pretty all gray girl with gold eyes. I have a lean, sleek body with a distinctive face. I am a little shy at first meeting, but give me some time to warm up to you and I will show you what a wonderful cat I am. I am affectionate and will start purring as soon as you start petting me. I like to sit near my humans and be loved on. I am young and still active. I like to play and have fun. My favorite toy is a string toy. Stop by today to see me and my friends. I was born in 2011.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Agent 99, a Gaithersburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gaithersburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gaithersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gaithersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gaithersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gaithersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
