About Tapa Cat Rescue Society

About Our Rescue Group...

The mandate of Tapa Cat Rescue Society is to deal with stray and feral cats. We do not take in people's pets as we have a waiting list of cats and kittens living on the streets who desperately need our help. As funds allow, adult ferals who cannot be socialized are spayed/ neutered and returned to where they live. We make every attempt to have a shelter on the property for the cat and to have a caretaker in place who will feed and monitor the cat on a daily basis. Feral kittens are removed from their colony once they are old enough to eat on their own, and are then vetted and put up for adoption when old enough.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Meeting rescues at our primary rescue location or foster homes is by appointment. Contacting us via email is the quickest way to reach us!! tapa@accesswave.ca

Our Adoption Process...

Adopter fills out an adoption application, and if approved, a contract is signed at the time of adoption. Our adoption fee is $150 which includes a combo test (FeLV and FIV), initial exam and vaccine plus parasite treatment and a certificate for spay or neuter if not old enough at the time of adoption.
