My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update Sept 2: Fluffy is doing great! This drop dead gorgeous dog is all tom boy! She LOVES the outdoors - would spend all day suntanning, and all night stargazing if she had her way. She is house and crate trained, and is great with the other dogs in the house. She is going on short leash walks. She would love to find a family or individual who has a nice fenced in yard or someone who loves the outdoors. She has been professionally groomed since her arrival in foster care, which has only added to her beauty!

Update July 16: We found a foster home for Fluffy!! She is a gorgeous dog, with her curly black locks of hair! She is timid, but is warming up to her foster mom, and the other dogs in the house.

Fluffy is a dog that has been living on a rural property in Ohio with 150 other dogs. Her caretakers were hoarding dogs, and have been court ordered to have most of the dogs removed from the property by the end of May. We were only given permission to place Fluffy this week (April 20). We know little about Fluffy at this point, outside of the fact that she is about 2 years old, had a litter last year before she was spayed, and the owners liked her enough to want to keep her initially. She lives in their house, and is let out into their garage to go to the bathroom. They do not let her outside, as she has been known to run and not come back when called.

We have a little over a month to get Fluffy off the property, or else she will be removed by animal control, and likely euthanized as the local pound is overflowing with young, well socialized dogs they are having to put down. Fostering or adopting Fluffy will literally be saving her life.
