Pippa's Story...
Pippa is a 2 year old english bulldog who was saved from a kill shelter after her owner turned her in. Her owner was unable to afford more vet care to figure out what was going on with Pippa, so instead of allowing her to suffer he surrendered her. We took Pippa in and got her the vet care she needed.
Pippa has a food allergy, which means she needs to be on special food the rest of her life. Pippa has had entropian surgery as well as a tail amputation as both were causing problems. Pippas vision has been greatly affected by her un-treated entropian and she does need eye drops but gets along just fine.
Pippa is spayed, UTD on shots, HW neg, chipped, and fully vetted as well as several corrective surgeries. Her adoption fee is $300. Start by filling out an application at www.fidosrescueandrehab.petfinder.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippa, a Lancaster English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
