Pontiac Trans Am's Story...
I came to AWLMC from the Montgomery County Humane Society. I was a stray. I am a pretty blue crèam/torbie mix with green eyes. I am on the petite side and very adorable. I am a sweet, friendly girl and love attention. I love to be held and to sit on laps and will purr the whole time. I talk a little, especially when you speak to me. I am still young and active, but find plenty of time for my humans to cuddle with me. I like to play a little with catnip mice, but I really enjoy spending time with people. I am full of love and am looking for a wonderful new home where I can be appreciated and loved on a lot. I was born in 2011.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pontiac Trans Am, a Gaithersburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gaithersburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gaithersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gaithersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gaithersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gaithersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
